A midcentury steal!

I went to our neighborhood antique store, Nook & Crannie, and found this lovely Heywood Wakefield desk. Considering the size I would think that this was a school desk. It has beautiful clean lines and a nice wood grain (Northern Yellow Birch). I also love that this has the iconic tapered legs you would see in most Heywood Wakefield furniture.

…the best part is I got it for 38 bucks—in New York, mind you!
